Pope Francis left injured
Pope Francis was injured when traveling on Popemobile in Columbia. The incident occurred in the city of Cartagena. The Popemobile was travelling along the street, where thousands of pilgrims had gathered. At some point, the vehicle came to an abrupt stop and the Supreme Pontiff hit his head on the bulletproof glass. The 80-year-old Pope sustained a cut over his left eyebrow, which dripped blood onto his white cassock. The column had to stop and the Pope’s cut was treated on site.
