2018 budget promises five percent yearly economic growth

The committees of the National Assembly have started discussing the 2018 budget, which forecasts five percent economic growth. The Prime Minister presented to the MPs the main financial document of next year.

“We have planned a fiscal policy that will determine the future developments in the economy. It will build up the groundwork for ensuring an average of 5% economic growth,” announced Karen Karapetyan. The PM stressed the budget expenditure, which will be based on clear-cut guidelines aimed at ensuring economic growth, the country’s security and social orientation.
