Karen Karapetyan: drinking water tariff rise should not reach consumers

16:50 02 Nov, 2017

Even if drinking water tariff raises, it should not reach the consumers, and the population should continue paying for it the price it pays now. PM Karen Karapetyan put this issue before the government cabinet. Veolia CJSC has applied to the Public Service committee to raise water tariff by 14,3 AMD, starting from 2018. The other assignment of the day is to study the reasons of 9-point setback of our country in the World Bank’s ranking of ease of doing business and to eliminate them. Among the issues on agenda, the executive body approved the agreement of 40 million USD loan from Eurasian Development Bank, regulated vulnerable legislative issues with a number of regulations, as well as to start preparing for the winter call-up.
